Canon 5DS And 5DS R, two DSLR King Mekapiksel

Last week Canon announced two new DSLR cameras: Canon 5DS and 5DS R. Two cameras have received attention because it holds the record as the highest resolution DSLR camera in the world: 50.6 megapixels. With such a high resolution, Canon strives to win the megapixel wars throughout the past 3 years won Nikon (D810 etc), and possibly even Canon also targeting medium format camera market. Despite the megapixel wars seem cheesy, but still occurs, as seen in the photo below joke:

Seeing capabilities, Canon 5DS and 5DS R is ideal by the photographers landscape, portrait, commercial, studio and architectural, as long as the bag is thick enough.

Features Canon 5DS

In strata Canon full frame DSLR cameras, placed in the top 5DS 5D Mark III but still below the 1DX. Canon 5DS is equipped 50.6-megapixel CMOS sensor and the latest-generation chip image processor Dual DIGIC 6 which is needed in order not to inconvenience and slow to "handle" the output image sensor with a resolution as high as it was.

Talk about speed, Canon 5DS able to be used at 5 pictures per second, which is already very good for the image of it. For comparison, the Nikon D810 is "only" 36 megapixels also speed up to 5 photos per second. While the medium format cameras such as PhaseOne iQ250 (resolution 50 megapixel) instead of only 1.2 photos per second.

Canon also did a redesign of the mirror box by adding a vibration control system that will reduce camera shake due to swing the mirror, very useful especially for photographers who photographed many landscape long exposure.

Canon also mimic Nikon to create exposure delay (termed Arbitrary release time lag setting by Canon) in operation mode Mirror Lock. With this feature, we can delay the camera takes exposure: 1/8, 1/4, 1/2, 1 or 2 seconds after the shutter button on the push, the position of the mirror has been lifted.

5DS video mode on the Canon is not much different. We can record 1080p full HD video up to 720p to 30p or 60p. Still less Alau compared with the Nikon D810 can 1080p up to 60p.

The camera also features a built-in intervalometer, so fans do not need to buy time lapse intervalometer separately.

Features Canon 5DS more detail can be seen in 5DS product page.

Features Canon 5DS R

The only difference 5DS and 5DS R is in the camera with the notation R (5DS R) has added a filter anti-aliasing filter to withdraw their labor, so the camera gets a clearer picture, and sharp detail. Risk omitted his earlier anti-aliasing functionality is the appearance of moire. Oh, one more. With the addition of R earlier, Canon makes 5DS R is more expensive than the US $ 200 5DS.
